In 2010 I founded A Little More Good, a digital media company focused on connecting Vancouver’s millenials with the good causes, companies and people in their city. Over the next three years, the company grew to include 12 cities around the world including Toronto, San Francisco, New York, London, Capetown, and Brisbane.
In 2012 I launched HelenJean, an online retailer that creates custom-made dresses. Each dress includes an “intention tag” where women can select a word representing how they want to feel when they wear their dress, in lieu of a regular sizing tag.
In 2013 I was honoured to be recognized by American Express and Ashoka as one of the top 45 emerging innovators in North America.
I went on to join the team at Spring Activator, a tech accelerator focused on purpose driven companies. In addition to developing their incubator program, crowdfunding course, and corporate brand, I developed go to market strategies for various digital media, mobile app, and ecommerce startups.
For fun I sit on the Univeristy of British Columbia’s Alumni Association Advisory Council as well as the board of advisors for Vancouver Is Awesome.
In my spare time I’m either travelling, surfing, snowboarding, or baking.
